Watermelon Art + Art Eggs / Gambling Chips / Caring friend...

Hi Folks,

These are truly incredible. I love the cool watermelons, but I was blown away by the eggs ? These egg shells were cut with a high intensity precision Laser Beam. This gives a very good idea of what can be achieved with a Laser Beam and gives an insight into what laser surgery performed on someone's eye is all about. Is it any wonder how your vision can be improved in just a few moments? Science is sometimes wonderful, and it's still on the frontier of gaining new knowledge.

I DIDN'T KNOW THIS - DID YOU ?
Las Vegas Churches accept gambling Chips
~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~
THIS MAY COME AS A SURPRISE TO THOSE OF YOU NOT LIVING IN LAS VEGAS, BUT THERE ARE MORE CATHOLIC CHURCHES THAN CASINOS. NOT SURPRISINGLY, SOME WORSHIPPERS AT SUNDAY SERVICES WILL GIVE CASINO CHIPS RATHER THAN CASH WHEN THE BASKET IS PASSED. SINCE THEY GET CHIPS FROM MANY DIFFERENT CASINOS, THE CHURCHES HAVE DEVISED A METHOD TO COLLECT THE OFFERINGS. THE CHURCHES SEND ALL THEIR COLLECTED CHIPS TO A NEARBY FRANCISCAN MONASTERY FOR SORTING AND THEN THE CHIPS ARE TAKEN TO THE CASINOS OF ORIGIN AND CASHED IN.
THIS IS DONE BY "THE CHIP MONKS." .............
YOU DIDN'T EVEN SEE IT COMING DID YOU?
Geoff had been telling his daughter, 8 year old Caitlin, about the importance of giving and sharing. Well Caitlin is a huge fan of the popular movie 'High School Musical' and Geoff had bought her an HSM blanket. Wouldn't it be nice, Caitlin suggested, if she had another one to give to her friend Robyn (also a big fan of the films) when she came for a sleepover that weekend?
Of course it would, but it meant Geoff had to find another blanket. On the night of the sleepover he was kept late at work and didn't have time to get one. When he finally arrived home both girls were asleep. Peeking round the bedroom door Geoff saw his daughter cuddling her doll... and Robyn wrapped up in the High School Musical blanket!
I'd say Geoff's message about giving and sharing had been heard loud and clear, wouldn't you?
I just thought I'd pass on to you what our friend Aleczander said recently,
"You know Rob, I always say 'au revoir' to you when you leave,
but from today I am going to use a Turkish farewell - "Go smiling".
So, that sounds good for me ... "Go smiling" !
Cheers from the land of the Heather and the Tartan, Love Kate xxx.
